Stevie Nicks wants to write music for ‘Game of Thrones’

Rocker Stevie Nicks has set her sights on turning poetry inspired by her favorite TV show into music for the series.

The Fleetwood Mac singer admits she became hooked on “Game of Thrones” after her mother died in 2011, and used the show as part of her recovery.

The characters inspired Nicks to create poetry and now she’s hoping to turn her literary efforts into tunes for the soundtrack.

The singer, who recently appeared on another favorite show, “American Horror Story: Coven,” says, tells the Radio Times, “I’ve written a bunch of poetry about it – one for each of the characters. I’m always looking for that kind of inspiration, and I’m very inspired by it – as I was very inspired by ‘Twilight.’

“It blows my mind that he’s (author George R. R. Martin) able to create this vast, interlinked world. As a songwriter I write little movies. But I can’t imagine sitting down and writing even one small book, a novel. We each have our thing that we’re really good at.”
