Country legend George Strait will wrap up his final tour at one of America’s most impressive venues – the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Texas.

The singer announced the extended dates of his two-year-long farewell tour extension on Monday in Dallas, insisting he will retire from the road after the Texas show, which will be scheduled in the coming days.

The confirmed final shows of The Cowboy Rides Again trek will begin in Bossier City, Louisiana on January 9, and end at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts on May 31. The AT&T Stadium show will take place shortly after that.

Strait will be joined on the road by top-line opening acts, including Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Merle Haggard, Jason Aldean and Sheryl Crow.

In this photo released by Fox, Homer explains why he wants to bring back the annual 4th of July fireworks display, after it's cancelled for budget reasons, in the "Yellow Badge of Cowardge" Season Finale episode of "The Simpsons," in May 2014. The full 25-year run of "The Simpsons" will arrive on cable channel FXX with a summer marathon, to be paired this fall with a digital extravaganza that could turn other TV shows yellow with envy. "I'm not going to over-promise, but I think this website will provide you with affordable health care," longtime "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean told a TV critics' meeting Monday, July 21, 2014.
